Our Elizabeth Charlotte JW (the first) is rapidly developing her social skills. She says please (occasionally) and thank you (a lot). She loves to offer food (and sometimes snatches it back with a devilish grin before popping it into her own mouth.) She has an absolutely lovely nature and will remember to set out tea for everyone, Beth, Daddy, Mummy, Grandma, Papa, Teddy, chair, tvdv, phone...

Beth fell asleep in the car today on the way home from Artarmon Lollipops. She hasn't done that since she was a few months old. Luisa and I enjoyed the short lived peace like Londoners after a blitzkrieg.

I'm starting to wonder if our Olympus digital camera (which took the movies I've so far put up here) wasn't recording the dates wrong on the files. It seems like every video I took was on the 11th January... oh well. That dastardly expensive camera didn't record any sound which is why the films have so far been 'silent'.

Beach Beau

This video was taken on the 11th January 2007 - just a couple of weeks off her first birthday and her first steps.

Beth has always loved the beach and the surf but up until about two years of age she loved the waves a little too much - not understanding that her mad, crawling charge into the water would result in her being tossed around and covered in sand.

And now that she is two years old... well she still runs into the water but at least she seems to know what she is getting herself in for!
